Frequently Asked Questions
01 — How and when do contractors get paid?
Payments are processed electronically through secure direct deposit using Stripe. You will be paid weekly on Wednesdays for completed jobs that have been finalized and collected from clients during the previous week. Payment details and earnings history are available through our platform for transparency and tracking.
02 — Do I need to provide my own cleaning supplies and transportation?
Yes, as an independent contractor, you are expected to supply your own professional cleaning equipment, and reliable transportation. This includes standard residential cleaning tools such as a vacuum, mop, microfiber cloths, and general cleaning supplies needed to complete jobs professionally and efficiently. However, we pride ourselves on consistency and quality, so we will supply non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning products at a set cost of $10 per job.
03 — How does compensation work?
Cleaning opportunities are offered at flat-rate pricing at 50% of the job. Earning estimates will be shared for each job. Contractors who consistently deliver high-quality work and maintain strong client satisfaction typically have access to more recurring and higher-value opportunities. We typically see rates around $22 – $30 per hour depending on efficiency, experience, service quality, and the types of jobs accepted.
04 — Are hours guaranteed?
No. Contractors have the flexibility to manage their own availability and accept the opportunities that fit their schedule. Work availability may vary based on seasonality, demand, location, and performance. Our model is designed for independent professionals seeking flexibility and control over their workload.
05 — How are jobs assigned?
Available cleaning opportunities are shared directly with contractors based on service area, availability, and job fit. Contractors can choose which opportunities they want to accept without being locked into fixed schedules. Any recurring jobs will be offered to the contractor who completed the First Time clean before becoming available to other contractors.
06 — What types of properties will I clean?
Jobs may include residential homes, apartments, move-in/move-out properties, recurring maintenance cleans, and select commercial spaces throughout Reno and Northern Nevada.
07 — Is previous cleaning experience required?
Professional cleaning experience is strongly preferred. We look for contractors who are dependable, detail-oriented, professional with clients, and capable of maintaining consistent cleaning standards.
08 — What can prevent someone from continuing to receive jobs?
Repeated reliability issues, poor communication, low-quality work, missed appointments, unprofessional behavior, or failure to meet service standards may result in reduced opportunities or removal from the platform.
